One thing I forgot to add, I worked on a movie called Festival of the Living Dead by the wonderful Soska Sisters and I got to be cameoed in the film!! Please watch the movie if you have Tubi!! The awesome effects were done at the company I work at called Lindala Schminken FX inc (aka LSFX).

Well, its been quite a long time since my last post, to say the least. Didn't think this page was still here, but it is! Anywho, A lot has happened since my last post. we got a puppy about 4 years ago for our daughter, and we named him Chewie after Chewbacca as he was brown, but, over the years, the brown colour disappeared and now he has white hair so calling him Chewie is kind of odd hahaha! Should have called him Einstein, after the dog in the Back To The Future franchise.

Been working on some secret movies/shows, which I cannot say since signing an NDA, but they will be awesome, so stay tuned!! In the mean time, please watch Shogun on Disney+. Its quite a good series. OK, end plug! 

2023 Crazy!!!

 Well, hello everyone, it's been quite some time since the last post. Like, a very long time. 9 years I believe. I'm not good with math so bare with me. A lot has happened over the years. just wanted to post this mini version before I actually post something more lengthy. 

On that note...Here is a little cheap video I made over a weekend using a scan of Me, Google Earth Studio and After Effects. It's a take on those 90's sitcom intro. Please enjoy.

Hey folks! Sorry been very busy in the last 5 years! I am married to the most wonderful woman and have a beautiful daughter. I'm also currently working at a company whom I owe a great gratitude, especially to the owner who gave me my first start in the make-up fx field, without him, I think I'd still be working in a restaurant which is not a bad thing but I never wanted to do that to begin with. Make-up fx was my first passion. Anywho, just wanted to add something to this blog. More to come!! Stay tuned!

So close and yet so far!

Hello all, Vinnie here! I guess it's been way too long since the last time I posted! Here's an update. I'm still working on Bong of the Dead. I can sort of see the light at the end of the tunnel but it's still a long ways yet. The special effects are improving a lot since the very first shot so that's a good sign. My goal is to make it seamless so I hope no one will notice the shots. However, flying meteors and explosions and stuff is a bit hard to make realistic especially on our budget so I hope it looks alright. I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween! Oh...speaking of which, I have some news...whether it's good or not, you guys can decide. in the upcoming episode of Fringe, I, Vincent Yoshida will be in it... err... well not me but a dummy version of me. I am playing a dead Chinese immigrant with a giant parasite coming out of my mouth. So if you can, please watch it. Plus I built the animatronics parasite for the show as well. I hope it looks good!! Crossing my fingers!! Anyways... I gotta go work on Bong of the Dead... until next time!
