Thanks yo...Oh my God, I am a huge fan of your work! Thanks you so much for checking out my test shot. The raw footage was pretty much what you see there, except for the penguin , the smoke infront of the penguin and a lens flare over the actually bright light so the flipper can be blown out. I camera tracked the footage in After Effects as well as the compositing. The Penguin was animated on 3ds max, which is my favorite program for animation. I also animated the fire engine lights that flicker past the penguin, tried to match the footage flicker that might be hard to see but it's there. One day I hope to switch from my current career as a Special Effects Make-up artist to digital work, I'm getting sick and tired of using all the harsh chemicals that are needed to doing it. Anyways, thank you so much again, without your tutorials, I wouldn't have even attempted at doing something like this. You are awesome! Looking forward to more of your tutorials!

Cheers

--VinnieVinnie Yoshidahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06809243920156761008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8966756506919895276.post-41842814377398866302008-06-07T08:05:00.000-07:002008-06-07T08:05:00.000-07:00Hey! Weather or not it was difficult I really appreciate the way you made it part of the footage in terms of lights and colors. Really great work!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04375909776252837068noreply@blogger.com
